The only thing i notice is that there is less interest in all of my lll.coms an ll.net.
A year ago i frequently got emails if my lll.com domains were for sale. Now i only get some Gmail emails from resellers. Thats what i notice..

recession is coming, find fewer and fewer optimistic view.
There are two views:
1.China will be seriously influence by this time world economic recesssion.

2.China will be influenced by this time world economic recession, however, its economic will be independently developed and more trade ,domestic products demand will help the world economic recession,USA will benefit from China's growth.

I choose No.2.

So seems Chinese domains value might not be negatively influenced, though more and more friends told me that .com period is gone,oh...
I still have.com ..

Hi Folks,

my findings are, that the Domainers do pay sloooow in these days. Everyone wants to keep the dollar in his pocket until the last possible moment.

Sold 26 names yesterday

Sold 68 names last week.

Where is the safe place to invest if you have money? stocks, real estate? NO - Domain names.

Bought over 200 names in the past 2 weeks.

I don't sit there and complain - I do buy and sell and the business is excellent!

Just curious, as someone who has noticed a very big slow down in end user sales, where are you selling these? on forums?

Agreed business is picking up. Those with xyz4uandme.com type domains
will have no chance in these times, sorry, as they are domains businesses can
do without .

Same here.
I don't sell a domain on forums from months.

The endusers always need some brandable domains for start new projects.

Don't get me wrong: I am not complaining, and I am selling. Just the DOMAINERS that buy from me (in Germany) do not pay as fast as in past times. In the past times it was everybodies honor to pay within 12h after the sale. Now suddenly everyone wants to pay 4 weeks later.

But then I never sell domains for 1,000 US Dollars. Usually my minimum price starts at about 7,000 US Dollars. If I would sell domains for 500 Bucks each, then I think people would pay quicker.

I agree: The safest place to invest money in is domains.

I must own the wrong domains. Getting good prices out of end users is like pulling teeth.

What are chinese domains?

China will enter into short term economic depression and massive unemployment in the exports sector, but the US will face worst - bankruptcy. The sort of bankruptcy when the Qing govt collapsed.

As for buying, there are gems out there for bargains. Always has been for the eagle eyes, but more so now than I can remember.

Knowing the situation of many considering the crisis, I am a little more flexible for potential buyers who contact me.

For Sedo, still doing okay with the auctions.

Someone mentioned folks holding onto that dollar until the last possible moment - this definitely seems to be the case in the mid to upper range sedo sales and auctions for me. Seems the average is almost 10 days before payment is made.

I have been getting good sales lately. But I've notice though that 75% of the bigger names I've sold have been from European buyers.

still selling domains:

on forums: basic ROI
private: Yeee Haw!

My real Bread and Butter business:

When americans and europeans feel rich - they buy my product; luxury expenses seem like they are the 1st to go.

Another thing about domain investing is - you always have a way of monetizing on your investments even if there is no resell/end user potential for the domain.

Agreed. Usd raised %25 against Try within three days so it makes me confuse about buying some domains in these days.
