On August 19-22, 2024, the it.com Domains team joined the London Domain Summit as a Gold Sponsor. This is the largest event for the domain industry in the UK.
The annual event gathered industry experts to discuss the latest trends in the domain market. The next round of the new gTLD program, the strategic value of new TLDs, new forms of digital assets, brand protection, SEO, and the evolution of domain preferences amongst Gen Z and Alpha were the highlights of the four-day event.
The it.com Domains leadership team, led by the company’s founder and CEO Andrey Insarov, attended the event. Tess Diaz, the Director of Channel Partnerships, and Joe Alagna, the Chief Strategy Officer, spoke at the summit and shared their knowledge, insights, and vision for the future of the domain industry.

“Since ICANN held one of its annual meetings in London ten years ago, there has been no meeting on the scale of London’s Domain Summit. We had attendees from every sector of the domain name industry in three packed days of quality presentations. This was a great meeting for the domain name industry. We’ll be back next year for sure,” said Joe Alagna.
Amongst some prominent speakers at the event were Michael Riedl, CEO at Team Internet, Christopher Mondini, VP at ICANN, representatives of the major global domain registries and registrars, as well as the experts in web3, business messaging, digital art, etc.
This year, the IWA (International Women’s Alliance) Convention was part of the summit. Celebrating its first anniversary this August, IWA prepared a packed agenda, discussing leadership, career advancement, digital marketing opportunities and empowering women in the industry. Attendees had a chance to join the round table with industry experts and peers.
The convention was streamed on IWA’s Twitch channel so members who couldn’t attend in person had an opportunity to watch, participate and pose questions.

“IWA keeps growing, and as a part of that growth, we are launching the IWA Academy, in partnership with Vancouver’ Davis College, so we can offer to all our members the knowledge and confidence needed to push business to the next level. We’re also introducing more elements to our membership later this year, but we would like to officially announce our annual Gala, which will happen in November, in Latvia, where it all began,” shared Natalija Japerte, CEO of IWA and Business Development Manager of it.com Domains.
All participants of the Domain Summit had the opportunity to learn about .it.com domains and the benefits they offer by visiting our stand.
