Hi I have just acquired this name and was wanting ideas on price and/or whether I should develop & hold?

Some stats on this site and comparable (or not so comparable sales being .com) I found on these would be:

Domain-------------- Price------SaleDate-----GlobalMonthlyBroad------GlobalMonthlyExact

itexpo(dot)net ------- ?????? ------ N/A ------ 11,100,000 ---------------- 1600

Comparables

golfexpo.net --------- $1050 ------ July09 ------ 9,900 ------------------------------- 480

expomilan.net --------- $934 ------ April08 ------ 27100 -------------------------------140

electronicsexpo.com -----$20,150 ------ Feb10 ------ 33,100 ------------------------------- 14800

careerexpo.com --------- $21,250 ------ June07 ------ 165,000 ------------------------------- 1300

carexpo.com --------- $27,750 ------ Oct08 ------ 33,100 ------------------------------- 1000

Appreciate your time guys.

Cheers

IMHO, very low value unless developed.

Thanks Varlin, Appreciate you taking the time to comment

What would you consider appraisal on developed might be as a guideline.

Another question which I'm not sure is best to ask in this section but what kind of site would you guys make it?

Cheers

Jamie

Lets see... Being an "expo", I picture a blog where the author comments on valuable contributions of programmers (or other IT people) in solving hard-to-approach tech challenges, new trends on IT, management of data-intensive businesses, etc.

Another development idea is to become a Ticketmaster.affiliate and keep your eyes i on
http://www.ticketmaster.com/browse?...&rdc_eday=20&rdc_eyear=2013&type=range&teVal=
Then, see the expos going on and figure out vendors of them and first sell tickets, next double dip by contacting vendors and advertise their Booth.

Take "Birmingham Home & Garden Show" for example, not exactly centered around IT but I'm sure there's a vendor there pushing technological equipment for home and garden, such as automated vacuum machines.

Then triple dip by being an Amazon affiliate and selling automated vacuums.

Of course have unique content and descriptions and place AdSense on there too.

Could also utilize clickbank for ebooks on technology too, but placement is key to not bombard users with ads as you will have conversions if pulled off right.

Using these methods will help you rank for a lot of keywords in many geographic areas thus increasing revenue.

I don't see value in the domain, but if you follow through with authority development once you have a solid model, I believe that you can monetize this just right.

Tia Wood would be great to make a design off an existing WP theme to give the site credibility.

Good luck & never give up. It sucks to fall down and lose 10,000... but feels even better making double once you get back up.

David :)

(I apologize for my writing, sometimes it messes up on my cell phone)
