50,620 .com registrations in the last 24 hours, and only 6,879 deleted.

Does this mean that we will see an increase in the value of .coms this year. :D

Do you mean "deleted" or
"removed from zone file"?

Some registrars do not have automatic systems that remove names from whatever system you are checking. So batches will not coincide with registrations, which flow pretty much continuously. There may have been 70,000 due to be deleted/removed that day, but some person took the day off at NSI and now they're stuck in a black hole for a few months.

Sorry - I should have been more specific. I meant the stats at deleteddomains.com. They seem to average out at around twice as many reg's as deletions though.

Still looks to be about double though.

What do you think I should do with my spambounce.com name Mole. I keep meaning to set up some spam retuning site with it.
