Looking for efficient, security-conscious coder to join team

We're looking for a part-time coder to handle a number of projects for us over the next several months. Hopefully if the person is a right fit, they may eventually become full-time.

The first project is a three stage one which will involve setting up an mysql database with an admin interface for handling import/management of records and an end user interface which will have unlimited free access accounts and day-multiday access passes funded by Paypal payments. The database will contain domain names and a chron job must be set to remotely check for availability of domains in the database as well as to do 'on the fly' availability checks from searches.

The ideal candidate would have a decent eye for design as well from a useability standpoint, be able to work independently, be full of creative ideas on how to help us do things more efficiently. Plus, we'd prefer someone that is able to be involved in troubleshooting/tweaking on an ongoing basis and someone that is comfortable with all things technical rather than just sticking with coding. (i.e. to install and customize existing scripts, etc)

The first project mentioned above needs to be started within the next 7-10 days within a relatively short completion time. (i.e. phase one within 5-7 days)

Payment to start will be in the range of $100-200 US per week and will increase with workload and responsibilities. Pay can only be made by Paypal.

Please post that you've sent a pm and pm a list of your experience and knowledge. It is also a must that you give URL(s) and description(s) of one or more projects you have managed from the ground up. Please let us know your location (country). We have no issue with taking someone on from anywhere in the world, but having excellent comprehension and reading skills in English is a must.

Please do not contact us if you will outsource the work yourself even if you have comfortably managed similar jobs in the past.

Thank you

Due to time wasters we are still looking for the right person. Please read the thred carefully before responding. Please DO NOT reply if you are a "noob" or if you have a group of people working for you, we want ONE person. As the thred says, the successful person will be on a weekly/monthly wage, so please do not PM me asking for the specs so you can give me a quote.

This is a great oppertunity for someone who has what we are looking for to join our team. We are expanding all the time and would like the right person to expand with us. This isent just a one payment and thats it job, it will be an ongoing pay, just like a normal job.

If you can do what is required, please contact me asap.

Thank you

Are you still looking to pay $5/hour for this coder, or have you upped your offered hourly pay?

I'm not sure what would lead you to the impression the pay was $5/hour.

I don't know about you, but I don't see part-time work as being 40 hours a week. ;) The first project (phase 1) that was mentioned is from 2-6 hours of work for a reasonably experienced programmer.

Thank you

I had a conversation via IM with a person about 2 months ago that was almost identical to what you are wanting. Your situation is almost a carbon copy of the otehr one.

Given than, I assumed it was with you.

I was obvioulsy wrong.

My apologies.

Good luck in your search :)
