It's not JEW, it's JEVV. That is misleading and false advertising. That should be reported, don't you think?

saw that one.
What a scam.
The seller even used a letter W in the description.
Usually, when they do this scam, they embed the letters in an image. But this one, you could easily highlight, copy and paste and know in fact that it is advertised as a W.

Auction reported at Ebay as "misleading title".

Lets see how long it takes them to check this scam out...

LAWYER.com
The winning bidder gets the domain name lawyer.com !!!
The third and fourth characters in this 7-character generic domain name are the letters "v."
WOW!! WOW!! WOW!!

That has to be against ebay's TOS

I know I emailed this jerk about his false advertisements. I saw the title for Lawyer.com, looked at the header of the actual description also saying "lawyer.com" and went through the whole process of checking overtures, wordtracker, similar extensions and such to decide how much to bid on it, only later to find out it's 2 VV's. I hope ebay takes his auctions down and bans him. What a waste of time.

How about the guy who was selling Sipence accounts as "eNom $6.95 Retail Accounts" on eBay?

Turds like this are giving domainers a bad name.

To report, go here: http://pages.ebay.com/help/contact_inline/index.html

I just reported. This is a huge scam. These type of auctions make me mad. The others that really get to me are the ones where they say "www-DOMAIN.com!! RARE BUY!!!" or something like that, with "www-" as the first 4 characters in the domain. All scams, each and every one of them.

As most of the members of DNF know, all you have is your integrity.

a con is a con is a con. And, all you have to do, is screw up once.
And, you will wear the label as long as you are in the domain business.

Let's see who will mentally justify registering

Seems like those ebay idiots don't care about this scam. I reported the jew and lawyer domains and they couldn't care less about them.
