I have done hundreds of searches using the overture tool, to try and gauge what the traffic and/or stats for the website will be like. Sometimes, the overture tool was pretty accurate, but most of the time I found the tool to be either way off in a XXXXX OVT results, and little to no traffic way, or way off in a 200 OVT results, with tons of traffic per month.
My question is this: Are there any specific categories that the tool is maybe "more accurate" with results. Clearly some keywords with a nice ovt score will get almost no traffic on their counterparts (such as "the lord of the ring the third age cheat"), but using common sense, is there a "smarter" way to differentiate between the accuracy of the results?
All opinions are welcomed.
