Hi all. I would appreciate if one or some of you could appraise these 2 domain names that I have just recently registered.

kaiak.com - This is actually a second "legal" spelling for the word 'kayak'. Look it up in websters ;). It's also a palindrome (spelled the same forward and backward), which I like.

deled.com - Another palindrome and it is also a word! Past tense of "dele" which means "In printing, to take out a letter or a word. delete."

Thank you very much.

... keep the day job. A great rule with domain names is .. if you have to explain them .. they have little or no value.

Mmmm, honesty! I love it! What do I think they're worth? Well to me they're worth $8.88 a piece ;) I figured I could get 20 bucks for kaiak.com and break even. Considering there are people out there trying to sell completely random 4 and 5 letter combinations, I thought someone might go for an actual word. I didn't feel I had to explain the domains, but that I would for anyone who didn't know kaiak was a word.. And even if it wasn't a word, at least it would be a cool palindromic set of letters, which sound out 'kye-ack' instead of just qdkpm.com.

If I ran a kaiak-based business, I would personally prefer kaiak.com to kayak.com... or at least like it just the same. It's much better than e-web-kayak-sellers-usa-inc.com, or something of that sort. It's nice to be different, and creative, yet still meaningful at the same time. deled.com wandered its way into my shopping cart and I couldn't be arsed to uncheck it when I checked out :). Oh and I do have a day job which enables me to do this for fun, and I won't be quitting it.

Doh. I sorta explained the domain again didn't I? Oh well, I guess I just saw potential in it. Maybe I'll become a kayak distributer, just so I can use it ;).

Thanks again for your honesty - I honestly do appreciate it.
