Ilze, I just read the decision on oki.ca, thanks to your fight it
means lots of great news for us domainers in regards to protecting acronyms and generics.

I noticed the decision omitted the lawyers involved, would love to know why that was.

Sorry for asking out loud but feel since it was a public decision all info can help us in the long run.

Great case. They were unable to prove bad faith for the simple reason that acronyms generally cannot have an exclusive meaning.

Congratulations, Ilze! Can see that the domain name doesn't resolve to the complainant, so hopefully they'll pay up for the name soon enough.

Im a bit baffled here, am I seeing that the lawyer is also a CDRP panelist!

Isnt that or was that the conflict and if it wasnt caught would they have proceeded and never removed themself or did they?
