Just noticed that Google.cm redirects to Ebay.com - anyone know when this sale took place and how much? I'm pretty sure Kevin Ham used to own this before - that's a pretty huge step. 22k alexa ranking of pure type-ins.

Agoga.com not resolving - neither are any of the typos still leading there, yahoo.cm, beer.cm, etc.

I'm almost positive that he didn't own it... This thread is a false alarm.

I really doubt you could have even paid him a million dollars to reg that for himself. Or five, or ten. Or more.

I don't think he owns any .cm domains, he just provides the redirect service for the Cameroon government, and the search portal they redirect to.

I wonder if he'll be doing it for .co as well (Columbia)?

he won't be doing it, .co is opening for public registration in a few months - so I heard but I can't find the related article now

when it does open up, I'll bet it will be biggest landrush in internet history. I type in .co more often than .cm

People are wasting time with .cm, barely anyone types in any .cm names, it's .co 10x for sure...and .xom nearly as much! now who does .xom belong to?

When I type google.cm in the browser of my I-Phone, since it resolves a bit slower than my blazing desktop, I can see that before going to the ebay site, it blips on another site for a split second. Paidemine.com or Paidmine.com? Something like that... Anyone else see that? Wonder what that's about?

It's an old affiliate trick to place cookies. I have seen this before.
