Thanks. Nice read

Thanks for the article, JayK. It's an interesting read. In my opinion PPC is the
very best advertising possibility at the moment. First of all you only pay per
performance. Second, PPC ads are mostly targeted and another positive point
is - from the publisher's point of view - that they're the best converting adver-
tising method available if you're going to earn cash from ads on your websites.
So for me the PPC system is very advantageous from both the advertiser's and
the publisher's point of view.

Heh, it is obvious that PPC is a better choice, but it seems to me webmasters strive to find high paying banners because it's harder to get clicks than banner impressions.
Also, an increase of 85% is alot! This is because everyone followed googles lead of PPC ;)
IMO google provides some of the best products around, because everything they engineer seems to be quick, efficient, and simple yet many MANY features.

Interesting comments folks. PPC is clearly very targetted, which is what advertisers want. However, it does depend what you are trying to achieve. If you trying to raise your profile, then maybe a Super Bowl ad like Go Daddys is the way to go, although I would be very interested to how that converted into new customers. Furthermore, PPC is unlikely to grow your traffic, only development will do that, but it comes at a cost (lost revenue).

very interesting article, thanks for sharing.
