I see that igetnet.com is now picking up where real names
left off selling keyords.

Do you guy's think that there is a future with keywords?

I feel that there is a possibilty because Microsoft is supporting it.

I see that some big companies have spent lot's of cash purchasing keywords in certain sectors of Business.

The price for a one worder is 5k.
Not cheap but could be worth much more in the future.

Can anyone lend me their crystal ball??

microsoft supported realnames, look how that worked out.

people are used to typing .com etc on the end of what they are looking for or have a big box marked "search" in front of them - keywords don't really address any problem other than how to generate revenue from the address bar for the seller.

Keywords are one of the biggest scams in the history of internet navigation. No need for a crystal ball. The evidence is staring right in the eyes.

Some people want to make money by selling concept of keyword.
If I want to search for Genetics , I would rather type Genetics in the window at google.com and go to links of my choice.

As per the proponents of keywords I should be looking for lots of keywords such as genetics, genomics, biology, biotechnology and a lot of more such keywords. Who wants to do it ? Not me .
