thanks - I am not sure either, but if the us govt starts to promote .us as a kid friendly domain space I might not agree inasmuch as the literature I have read would seem to indicate that kid friendly sites using a .us extension, even if they are not .kids.us, will be eligible for financial assistance

however, even if there is no value, the price of registration is worth the risk
