I was still hoping somebody might give me an evaluation of this name. I think it is good because it is close to kids.us, and it is short, and relatively catchy. If the federal government backs the kid friendly aspect of .us domains, even with the kids.us tld, I think it is a good play on a short letter combination.

Anyways, other thoughts?

Thanks

I think the value of a name like this would be whether or not the letters K.I.Z could be an acronym for some US company. I don't know of any right off hand.

The KIZ (kids) angle just doesn't work, although the Kiz.com site appears to be "kid friendly", so who knows.

Just thought I would give you "appraisal" since you do so many for others on here.

I'd say this domain is a lot better than the other .kids.us variations I've seen discussed in this forum.

What do you think is a general ballpark figure for a 3 letter .com

I'd say kiz.us will soon reach that general level of value, the negative fact of being a new TLD being balanced by the positive fact of a spelling close to kids.us

I'm not so certain as others that kids.us is a good thing for the namespace. What if you sold kiz.us to someone who put up a porn site or advocated paedophilia or something? I can see a lot of angry letters to congressmen/women, who would be compelled to make further restrictions.
