Often, we rush to criticize a company or service that is lacking in support. If something is broken we expect it to be fixed ASAP... and rightly so.
I'd like to give a big thumbs up to SnapNames for being efficient & responsive, consistently over the last few years. They could have taken us domainers for granted, since they are the only game in town (for all practical purposes) but they have'nt done that.
