Porsche service company alleges domain name was stolen from its Network Solutions account.

European Performance Engineering, Inc. (EPE) has filed a lawsuit (pdf) alleging that a thief stole the domain name EPE.com from it.

The company, which services Porsche vehicles, says that someone gained unauthorized access to its Network Solutions account sometime on or before March 21 of this year.

The domain name then bounced to GoDaddy in June before making its way to its current home at Guandong Naisinike Information Technology Co Ltd. The whois record shows that the domain is now registered to Wang Zheng.

EPE filed suit in U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Virginia, which is where .com registry Verisign is located. The company is represented by Greenberg & Lieberman, LLC, which handles a number of domain name lawsuits and UDRPs.
