Hi Folks,

I try to stay clear of possible trademark problems, but with the purchase of what might be some valuable generics and the TM over-reaching in the field, it may only be a matter of time before I need some legal advice or have to select an arbitrator. To prepare, I would welcome your advice or recommendations concerning: (1) good internet law lawyer? (2) rough idea concerning rates or cost? (3) WIPO arbitrator selection?

Thanks in advance.

Hi DB

One excellent source of internet legal knowledge is Michael Geist, professor of internet and electronic commerce law at the University of Ottawa. He has a regular column in The Globe & Mail, Canada's leading national newspaper, and he's got an international reputation as an internat law guru. However, I don't know if he provides counsel. He also publishes a daily free compendium of internet-related new items, which I strongly recommend any domainer signing up for. All this info can be found on his homepage:

I talked to Ari Goldberger once about a suit I had filed against me. He was very pleasant and seems like he knows what he is doing. He handles WIPO suits for a flat $1500.

His website is: http://www.esqwire.com/
