limit of total number of parked domains??

I have a lot of domains inserted in my account in sedo but not all are parked there.
I had under 1500 domains parked there until today.
I added about 200 today and reached 1700.
This is the number I see at the Domain Parking Overview.

My problem is that my "Domain Statistics" only show domains starting with 0... up to sy.... All the other domains don't show up in the drop down list.
I guess these are the first 1500 domains.

Does anyone else have this problem?
Is there a limit in sedo or maybe a bug in internet explorer with drop down menu?

Most likely the dreaded 64kb limit on a form element. For the same reason you can't submit an input box that contains more text than that. Did you try Firefox?

I wish I had your problem (I think). If someone will donate another 1000 or so domains to me I can tell you if the same thing happens to me :wink:

I think the ones showing 0 have had traffic on sedo and the others not showing (in parking list) have not had a hit (on sedo) yet.

Hi dvdrip,

I'd like to reassure you and everyone else that we have no limit to the number of domains that can be listed. We have several customers with tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands of names.

Have you sent any of my colleagues an email about this problem? It's hard for us to try and rectify any problems of this nature if we are not contacted with login details etc. We're all for people posting on the forums with problems they are experiencing, but please remember to send us an email as well so that we can look into the problem on our side.

I wasn't talking about a limit in domain parking. I mean I am not worried I am loosing revenue.

The problem is I can't view stats in "Domain Statistics". It might not be your problem. It might be that limit in drop down menus.

But anyway I am sure you can fix it. Maybe divide this list in two or more?

This brings up a point. Is there any alternative for those dropdown lists? I have about 1500ish domains too and to populate the list every time I want to view a domain stat takes AGES not to mention the bandwidth it must be consuming. Could we just have a text field or something where we type the domain in unless we specifically ask for a dropdown list? I've opened a second account for all future additions just so I don't have to wait for that list to load.

I currently list about 2,200 names with sedo.
I just checked my sedo statistics. All are shown beginning with those recently sold or delisted, then from 0 to Z. I dont have the problem.

I list more than 3000 domains.
It doesn't matter how many you list.
All that matters is how many of these have received a visitor.

You can see that at the domain parking overview. It says "xxxx Domains collectively:".
How many do you have there?

i just got reply from sedo Germany on that matter. they will be issuing a hot fix for the 1,500 limit on coming Monday, which will extent the limit to 5,000.
