"Lists" are powerful stuff. How we all wish we ran the dictionary list (all words) for domain availability way back when.
Running the top 1000+ cities (population) in the world for domain availability was one of the first things I did when I entered this business about two years ago. Amazingly, some cities were still available. And the .org works fine for these government municipalities also.
Then I ran lists for every country, then multitudes of lists for other categories. You just have to think. List mining is what I do for a living; where I've found all my gold! Everything I've ever searched for I've found online & I check a 1000 names at a time for availability.
From this, I've quit my day job & earn a nice living.
I'm telling everyone reading this: Spend your time "mining lists" & you'll retire in two years. I did.
But hey, you have to be lucky too.
Thank you for reading.
