I wonder which is better. Listing one domain or multiple domains in a thread.

Which will increase the sale?

I think one domain per thread is a bit more focused.

What do you think?

If your including detailed stats, I would agree that one domain per thread is probably better. If you had detailed stats for 5 domains in one thread, you might loose some attention.

That being said, if its going in the $20 drop thread I dont see a reason to list individuals, a list with main stats maybe, (ie traffic, rev, dev, search results) but keeping it simple.

It really depends on where your posting imo. I would rather spend the time coming up with a nice post with every stat i could find for one domain than list xxx domains in one thread.

It is better to sell a single unique domain in a thread. If you are listing similar domains, low priced domains, or a portfolio it is better to list them together.

One domain per thread is definitely better. I rarely bother browsing through huge lists of domains in a single thread (maybe I should? :)).

Low value names are doing better with multiple names listing.
High value names should be listed as single name.

Don't mix the good, the bad and the ugly together, they will all become bad & ugly.

doesn't matter if you list one or 100

people are only going to buy what they like.

Yes but what you list them with alters the price they're willing to pay, imo.

If you list a good two word generic with a crappy one, they would question their judgment on buying the domain and would not be willing to pay as much.

If it is a good name with good stats, 1 domain per thread.
If it is a good name with no stats, 1 domain per thread.
If it is a bunch of average domains, multiple per thread as you maybe able to unload the bunch to one buyer.

i've seen members post long lists of domains with much success

as an observant domainer will "cherrypick" his/her way thru

i like people who are too lazy to look thru long lists, that's how some people miss out on great deals :)

That means, they got the great deals for which seller should have got more if there are more people notice his domains.

Yup, I've landed a few gems this way.

It also seems like domains listed in the $100 or under category do better when listed with a bunch from what I've seen.

Well put Johnn... when I first started in the industry, some 6 years now whilst in college, i fell into that trap. What I found out is that people would contact me for the "good" and ignore the rest that was still of profitable quality when offering numerous names.

Bar none- posting single names is the best way to go. Much much better R.O.I.
