My question concerns promoting domains in several places at once. Most people have names parked (or at least listed) at Sedo, but is it okay to also list them on Afternic, and other places?

I know it's not advisable to list the same domain with a 'Buy it Now' price in two places, because you run the risk of having two 'sales' in one day (not likely, but it's possible). But what if it's just "Make Offer?"

The reason I'm asking is that there are a number sites (such as a few of the .CO aftermarket sites that have cropped up) that say they'll be your exclusive brokers if you list with them. I'm looking to get a few of my names out there in as many ways as possible. So are multiple listings allowed, and if not, what's the best way? Paying to be listed in newsletters?

i wouldn't pay to be listed in some newsletter, better to pay to be listed in usa today or wall st journal

also, if someone wants to be your "exclusive" broker, then that can prohibit you from listing elsewhere....depending on the terms of what "exclusive" means to them.

between sedo and afternic, one is free, the other is not

if you choose to pay for afternic's service and plan on listing at sedo too, then list as "make offers".

imo...

I'm w/ biggideon on this one.

You could also market them to end-users and include a link to the for sale page. That usually works best with sedo imo..
