For those who haven't got the chance, here's my ticket for your viewing pleasure:

I may not go to the concert myself, but I intend to help by talking more about it within my capacity. :)

So if you'd not go, for how much do you hope to flog your tickets!? :cheeky:

Even though I disagree with Bob Geldof saying that selling Live 8 tickets is "despicable", I find it difficult to price and sell them. And to be honest, I'm still deciding on whether to go or not. ;)

I'm not really a fan of any of the bands playing (except maybe for Muse and Coldplay) but I realize its an amazing event and hope it goes well.

It's sad that Sarah McLaughlin chooses to perform in Philadelphia, but then Neil Young is "here to stay"! :)

I've just found out that there will be a Live 8 concert here in Germany, but
unfortunately the artists performing on that concert are not as good as on
the Live 8 concerts in the US and UK. I'd like to see Paul McCartney, he's
one of my few favorite singers who have not died or vanished into thin air
over the years. I hope the concerts will be a great success nevertheless,
because they're a big charitable event!

hehe, i bought my Edinburgh and london concert tickets from 2 guys on seperate forums for £40 :-(

I entered the sms competition but didn't win!

Anyways i hope all brits are coming back to Edinburgh for the protest and are not just going to live8 for the music :-(

In the music theme isn't there rumors the "spice Girls" are getting back togather only for that day for a single performance? i can't wait to see victoria beckham pretending / TRYING to sing....

Edinburgh since Monday was already starting to be restricted, Tomorow i think they will be closing out city center etc.

I am still for the look out for a (UNIFORMED) [In black suite] FBI agent in edinburgh ^^

BTW, did you know the city the summit is in is now virtually closed, they are blocking NON residence going in, and have been monitoring people taking rooms there or visiting there in the past 8 weeks...

Anyone coming to Edinbugh can pm me if you want attractions etc too, just to let all know all out hotels, guesthouses EVERYTHING is full.
All prices are 2-4x as before, a single 2-3 star gueshouse costs over £50 = £60 per night... i wont even know how much 5 stars are charging. Also if you come to scotland don't forget your umbrella's

Who's gonna buy mine! LOL! :-D But then I won't sell them for £40 (or less than US$100) anyway. If I'm not going eventually, I will keep the tickets as memorabilia or may be sell it on eBay later (I mean AFTER the concert). ;-)

LOL! You can trust me with that. A LOT of my books (which I haven't bought any in the past 5 years) are still kept in excellent conditions. And most (90%) of my vinyl records are in MINT condition (if you know what it means), with the other 10% near mint.

All shops in princess street edinburgh are boaring up with wood and metals, some have Cleared valubale stuff (like jewlery shops) ^^
