Hey.

Is it possible to have a separate entity under an LLC? I have two sites that are kind of connected...my LLC is registered name of one of the sites, can I run the other site other the entity of my LLC to receive payments etc? :)

I am not sure what state you are in.

In NC, I am allowed to amend my business license to include additional businesses - all coming under the one LLC.

Essentially, the LLC is the "overseer".

This is not at all unusual.

Even though I am in NC, my LLC is registered through Delaware.

Your best bet would be to contact your tax office that your state business license is in.

If you do not have a business license, you should get one.

That's how I'm doing it, registering the LLC in Delaware.
But I found out Delaware has something called a Series LLC, which is for more than one entity under one LLC? I don't understand the point, but here's some info about it:
http://incnow.com/about_llcs.shtml#series_llc

I thought you could establish multiple entities underneath one LLC, or am I wrong? This is where I don't understand what a Series LLC is. On that site too, the people have a disclaimer warning people against a Series LLC because it's hard to manage or organize?

Any help/advice appeciated.

You can have an LLC described as a "disregarded entity". See this.
