11,881,376 Combinations, letters only vs. 676 Cominations, letters only, I think the one thats harder to find wins.

Seeing the value of llll.com starting to rise is a good indication that there may be (one day) value for lllll.com. but prolly nothing random. It would have to be pronounceable, premium letters, and you may have to build some value.

Since you're developing it, it's a moot point. Best of luck.

Absolutely. Glad to give the advice. I may be misunderstanding you - but another little cookie for ya - reg the name before you post it. These are shark infested waters.

I totally screwed the pooch on the math = lll.ext = 17,576 possible combos. I knew that. The 676 is for ll.ext. The point still remains.

By the way, did it ever get reg'd?

These 5L.com's are only valuable if they are brandable or meaningful . . . ones like: aaaba ppjpp Etc, could hold value.

What's brandable about 'aaaba' and 'ppjpp', or am I missing something? I thought that brandable meant a name would be easy to recall and pass on. And I certainly don't find them meaningful.

I finally registered the name. if you guys can please gimme an appraisal on the domain alone and developed? me and a partner of mine are going to develop it into a buick grand national website. we are huge fans of grand nationals.(i used to own 2 of them but had to sell it b/c of debt) the domain is called BKGNX.COM.again it's short for buick grand national.I tried getting in contact with the guy who owns buickgnx.com but no response (not sure if i got the right info) so we decided to do our own site anyways.

Choose something pronouncable and easy to remember.

Like mine, Lunom .com etc...

Holds little if any value...

The only way a 5L.com is every going to be worth something, imho, is if its pronounceable.. for example:

Amase.com
Ticip.com
Gemun.com

For a 5L to be "brandable" it does need to follow a few guidelines. CVCVC or VCVCV are great, as well as anything pronounceable. You'll find a lot of CVCVC's are naturally pronounceable. Of course, building it out, as you intend, will ad significant value by means of traffic. Also get some links. That will help with value.

But the name itself, without traffic or content holds very little value.
