One of the best ways to price a domain when selling it, without giving away an exact price, is to give a rough ballpark figure. Thus, many people have begun using what I like to call the "LMH$XXX" system, which stands for "Low Mid High $XXX".
Anyways, I was curious what everyone thinks when they see a certain price, for instance, if you saw "Accepting offers in Low-Mid $X,XXX" what price would you be compelled to offer off the top of your head? Using my incredible math skills (uh yeah) I've come up with the following simple chart to show technically what it should be. But I'm curious to see if people see it the same was as the chart, because I don't.....
$1000 to $3999 = Low $X,XXX
$4000 to $6999 = Mid $X,XXX
$7000 to $9999 = High $X,XXX
$2500 to $5500 = Low-Mid $X,XXX
$5501 to $8500 = Mid-High $X,XXX
Opinions on my useless thread? Seriously, what do you think!?
BTW I realize technically my "Low-Mid" and "Mid-High" figures are actually "Mid-Low-Mid-Mid" and "Mid-Mid-Mid-High", but I doubt anyone here would think "$1000" if someone said "Low-Mid".
