I'm always looking for an angle so from the above lists, all the .coms, .orgs & .nets were taken except for these so I made the $39 investment:

Unlike others here, I've had great success with .orgs. Parking is a funny thing sometimes as is domain sales (as witnessed by this thread), so you never know...

i like short names too but they are not the most rare

Well I sold a bunch of names longer than 10-15 letters, but nothing extraordinary.
They are pretty good for end users though. Some would even prefer a 4 word domain over a 4 letter acronym.
