when on holidays, you sacrificed and tried to 'catch' a good one.

This is like fishing, only, there arent any fish in the sea!!!!!!

I remember a few years ago in these times, I would have walked home with some good fish...
weird, eh?

The days of individual fishermen have passed - no longer the rod and line but the deep-sea trawler, vacuuming up from the sea floor, or should I say the pool.

yep...
it keeps 'snapping' at me.
then I go home like a name loser.
All because I lost a game of pool.
That was before my Daddy stopped going, not that he went much.
good old days...

I'm herring you on this - there was a time when you cod catch a big fish on your own or with a little help from your fins - now though it's just a whale of time looking for tiddlers.

The price of snapper is to rich for my blood.
I avoid wadding in the pool because of all the slime.
As much as I hate to say it, my Daddy and an ol' club have helped me catch the best salmon.

I agree that the days of bountiful lobsters scooped up by hand on the beachfront are long gone for old namespace like .COM. Today its all about deep-sea fishing to find those 10 kg pretentious prawns.

However, there's still great stuff in the new .INFO and .BIZ namespace :-D The .COM kkk clans have had no choice but to admit these shrimps are growing fast, and will be very much a part of the new Internet as we know it.

I like to dab in domain drops. Many a late night would find Salmon his perch at the computer... floundering about looking for a name he could trout on the sea-board the next day. Many a sleepless night-crawling around, letting fly an eloquent cuss sword-fishing for a prize catch. Only to come up with a couple crappie ones. I try to play it koi, but Pool requires too much gold-fishing at RegisterFly is like using the wrong lure -- SnapNames is good, but costs too many clams.

Holy Mackerel! It cuts me to my sole. Don't mean to pout. .. I just sometimes get this stuck in my crawfish.

Clams? More like buckets of oyster pearls. You can't justify traffic revenue in a lifetime with those prices. The bidders are clueless wannabe domainers who had a bad childhood and trying to make up for a sense of self importance through spending mindless money. And it will only get far worse as the growing effectiveness of search engines like the big G, Teoma and Oxide become the navigation tool of choice. Type-ins for first time "don't have a clue" navigation? LOL

Welcome to the Internet post 2005.

This is one thing that I don`t agree, I still get nice domains for $200-$500 that make me the money back in 1 or 2 months.
