Looking for IPad-IPhone App developer

Does anyone here know of any reputable IPad-IPhone App developer that has developed Apps approved by Apple. I've met with two so far, and was not very impressed with their references or previous work. Thanks in advance for any advice out there.

I know a guy that is amazing...which also means he is incredibly busy. That said, he's pretty selective when taking on new projects, but I know one thing he looks for is that he gets paid between $10k-$25k. I'm not sure if his fees are high/low but he seriously doesn't take on anything much higher than $25k since that means he'll be tied up for more than 6 weeks.
