Hi!

I'm in search of a simple script for sending out newsletters.

My only requirements are;

- Users must be able to sign up via a (simple) website form

- The script needs to be able to send out HTML formatted newsletters

Any ideas are appreciated! Thanks in advance! :smilewinkgrin:

Also consider Group Mail Pro if you want to send them from your own computer. Infacta.com if I remember right.

Edit - they've now created a website seperate for it: group-mail.com

Aweber is fairly good and cheap. Only real problem is their html editor is really balky at times.

Compose and save frequently works!

Don't go for any scripts you intend to host on your own server. It is very likely that sooner or later you will simply end up on some spam list and/or get blacklisted by some mail servers. Try AWeber, they have a fairly good reputation and keep a good eye on their users to make sure that reputation doesn't change to the bad. They're very reliable and you'll find that you will reach much more people (by getting through spam filters) than by using a self-hosted script. Of course, you may want to check some of their competitors as well... Good luck with your project!
