Created a new site this week as a platform for my domain names at http://www.atvins.com, and it is a work in progress. I would really appreciate some feedback on the site and perhaps some suggestions on how I can improve it (besides improving the names I have for sale there). I'm currently writing some content articles about lessons I've learned so far, successes I have had already and some overall thoughts on this crazy business and it's interesting players. I thank you in advance for taking the time to look and/or comment about the site!

all those categories you have above the banner, should be below it

the yellow font is difficult to read on second line in the banner

the words "our sponsors in gray font, can barely be seen as it resides inside the banner

your affiliate banners are half inside banner and really should be on the side or bottom of page

that grren ass font is barely visible, change to darker color (blue perhaps)

why is "Vincent Jacques .com" at the bottom of every domain usage description? it's unnecessary

now, is it a blog or a showcase website for your domains?

putting a date at the top makes it look like a blog and also shows when the page is updated. if visitors come back and see diffferent date with no updates...then it appears you aren't maintaining it.

without it, no one knows or notices.

lastly, i'd take out "whether you're an end-user or reseller", in the paragraph below the big for sale sign.

an end user may want to know what a reseller is, and if they find out, they may want to be one.
then you may not be able to sell to them at end-user prices, especially if they click on the dnforum link.

imo...

All terrific advice and just what I was looking for! Got some work to do this weekend. I really appreciate you taking the time to not only look but provide so many useful comments! Thanks so much!

Overall, looks good. Your category links, white on white, are difficult to read and are bunched up which pushes the content down the page. I would put them across the page or down the side.

I like the idea of writing articles from your own experience. That could be very interesting for people.

Good luck.
