I'm looking for the cheapest (and most reliable) Registrar of the moment for each of the following Tlds ... Obviously, the Registrar can be different for each of them, post here in the public interest, thanks:

- For .biz
- For .ca
- For .info
- For .us

I've also a question regarding ca domains: theorically we can't register them not having a legal presence but we won some ca names at Pool in the near past and we've been authorized by Cira (after having confirmed some steps) to keep them, what does this mean ? Can we register unlimited domains now only because we own some of them, even if we don't have a local presence ?
Thanks again for your help, this matter might be of interest for other members too.

CIRA does require .ca domain registrants to meet their "Canadian Presence Requirements", both in theory AND practice. From what I heard, they do patrol and cancel non-complying registrations. The confirmation you went through to acquire ownership of certain .ca domains do NOT grant you the license to register more; on the contrary, it doesn't even guarantee your ownership of those names. Hope this clarify a bit. :)

Thanks anyone for the first useful feedback, not bad especially for info names :)

I understand perfectly nameslave and I'm a bit worried now about our ca domains; what's the cheapest way to solve this problem ? I mean, what are the options offered to foreigners in order to find/use the name of a local company to register domains ?

Thanks again for helping.

I really won't recommend using other people's info for the registrant field: this simply put your "ownership" at a higher risk. The only workaround I know is to transfer ownership to a Canadian entity which would then let you use the domain (e.g. by a lease).

By the way, DomainSite has been selling .info for US$1.99 per name year. :)

Thanks for the double info nameslave, I'll talk with my partner about our ca domain and related problems to see what can be done with them :(
