So I didn't pay my renewal bill and my two domain names got snapped up (is it ok to list their names here or would someone try to buy them and sell them back to me???)

myname.com is in redemption period and the whois is listed below.
Name.com said I can redeem it for well over 200$ (screw that) or try to buy it when it drops.

asdf.com says different stuff on different sites, eg, on domainwhoisinfo.com it says it's registered with name.com under my name and available for sale on sedo? that doesn't make sense!
Name.com said that this has dropped already and is beyond redemption period.

My question is, How do I get these two back?
Do I dropcatch? and when will that happen?

Both those names will be going into Pending delete in about a week.

Go to domaintools and when the domain says "Pending Delete" look right above where it says "Updated" and count 6
days from that date and they should drop around noonish PST.

More than likely nobody would want your "Name" and you will get that domain back, the other one unless somebody backordered it you should get that back as well.

Does this mean someone indeed bought it?
asdf.com is for sale
The owner of the domain you are researching has it listed for sale

Nobody bought it YET!

It is SEDO that listed expired domains at goofy prices.

gotcha, Just trying to figure out when it will be listed on normal sites to register since 6 days from 4-15 has passed.
I'd rather try to buy it back or backorder it than pay the exorbitant renewal fees name.com wnated.

If you go to Godaddy backorder is about $21 a piece that should ensure you get it, that includes the year reg.

I would put a backorder at Snapnames, Pool, and Namejet. GoDaddy never got a name for me. Waste of money.

You will get it if nobody backordered it.

But I must say after you made up your mind quickly here delete the domains actually referenced in your post, there has been a lot of talk about ethics issues here on the forum so would be sad to think if another member read this and snagged one of them.

You've got the info you are after, so just delete the URL references from your post now.

I think asdf.com is worth way more than the back-order fee...

The domains aren't asdf.com and myname.com - those are used as examples.

Kudos to you two - cbk and Traveltext for looking out for this person. Willpower, your link still shows information you should get rid of, even though you deleted the text (from what I remember when first reading your post) your sedo link still shows info you should get rid of also.

Good luck and I hope it works out for you!

Yes thanks for looking out for me. Already I have someone trying to sell my domain name back to me. I'm posting his personal information here.

This is just spam, speculating that you might want the domain - they don't have it, but will attempt to grab it if you say "sure, I want it, how much". You can play them by saying you want it, when they get it you tell them to piss off :D

Wow, this is some bs.
Someone stole all three of my domains.
www.revizzle.com
www.jonathantaufer.com
www.willpower101.com

I checked every single day. Willpower101.com NEVER popped up or changed it's date since this thread.
Jonathantaufer and revizzle dropped on may 19th, however when I checked their registration status (been checking twice a day every day) they were both already taken.

Why do you call them 'stolen' when they expired and drop-caught?

http://whois.domaintools.com/willpower101.com Expired
http://whois.domaintools.com/jonathantaufer.com Dropped
http://whois.domaintools.com/revizzle.com Dropped

If you didn't pay to renew them, how did you expect them to be safely handed to you?

Ok, legitimately snagged I mean to say. But who goes through the trouble to buy someone's name???

People buy dropped names everyday. What do you mean "goes though the troubles"?
As long as the name is not trade mark then the buyer is ok. It's your fault not to renew the names.

willpower101.com is still at name.com, not dropped yet, might still appear at: http://www.name.com/expired_domains.php
revizzle.com: was created on 19 May at go.daddy, presumably dropped and was snagged
jonathantaufer.com: caught on 19 May too

You might still have a chance to grab #1.
As for the rest, add them to your watchlist, in a year or two, or more, they will probably drop again. Just with patience you can recover many domains.
