.com still are the absolute best domains, but, unfortunately, the TLDs inflation of .mobi .tel .name etc. don't allow them to reach a much higher (and real) prices

about the luck.com domain ...despite its high price, this domain still hasn't any kind of website online

You are having a laugh. Dot Mobi and Dot Tel are like two flies on a Rhino's tail.

Why does Dot Luck need some crumby site development to realize its full value. Quality generics do not greatly or indeed marginally benefit from Honey Pot type development. Of course their true potential is realized if a World Class business uses them for it URL, but that is why the buyer is acquiring them in the first place.

I am sorry but it only "developers" with crumby domains that think building honey pot sites is the solution. And then mainly because their domains don't have a cat in hell's chance of achieving half decent traffic if parked. The problem is that Google is increasingly seeing such garbage as a threat to it core business, so most of these sites will be going off-line in the very near future. Can you imagine the chaos if ICANN really does introduce 1000 New TLDs? The Google Search Engine would be just about useless unless all this Flotsum is filtered out.

I doubt it.

You can't compare luck.com with your average four letter .com.

It's a joke, seems like anytime there is a big dictionary / generic LLLL.com sale that is what people say... lol
