It's been years since I was heavily involved with expired domains, but I am quite sure it's time to jump back in..

I am mainly looking to get domains in certain niches that have been around for a while (PR is a plus, but domain age and keywords are more important for me).

If the domain gets dropped and I'm lucky enough to register it through Moniker, does it lose it's domain age and look like a brand new domain (mostly I care about what google thinks)?

Is the only way to maintain the domain age to buy it through a service like snapnames or pool?

Money is an issue as I'd like to buy a lot of them, so the cheapest way I can accomplish this, the better.

Can anyone point me in the right direction here?

Much thanks in advance!

the only way to keep the original date is to buy pre-release names. not just any domain you order through snapnames will keep its date. there is also namejet. you just have to make sure you get the pre-release names, not the pending delete names.
