All,
"Platinum" Newbie (15 minutes old) wants to make an offer on a domain that is held by a DNF Exclusive member (name: "packeted"). How do I do this? Also, how do I ensure that he actually pushes the name to me if we agree to a number?
Thanks for your help.
Brendan

Send PM asking if it's available for sale.
Use...
EscrowDNS.com
Moniker Escrow

Check whether he got the sale thread for that domain here. Escrow.com is another place to do transaction.

packeted (Francis) is a stand up, completely legit guy, so you have nothing to worry about if you agree a number. Given you are new I would imagine he would want you to use an escrow service.

For transaction below $1000 , I would use paypal. Over 1000, may use escrow.com .
