I was trying to register a domain using enom. The domain was taken but there was a link "Make an offer for this domain using AfterNIC." This service costs $69. Is it worth it?

wrong section to post this, but to answer your question: No its not worth it. Email the guy directly by looking up the whois. If the domain has privacy protection just make and offer through sedo for free

Working here - I thought I shed some light on what you receive for the assisted offer service. By making an offer on a domain, you will be immediately assigned to a buyer representative. We will reach out to the domain owner on your behalf and ensure that you maintain anonymity during the process. Additionally, we will provide you with an appraisal, that goes through a manual appraisal process, for that specific domain name.

If we, collectively, are able to come to an agreement with the seller - you will be able to go through our escrow process. Other services may have different price points - but don't have the human touch that we have to help drive a much greater opportunity for a successful offer.

Hope this helps.
