Web3 Making Web 3 Domains Useful?

I've purchased a number of web3 domains for my own use, and for resale. But I'm still wondering how to build a web3 website. I haven't seen any obvious companies that host web3 domains. I've heard of file coin, but their crypto currency value sometimes goes insane, and I would be reluctant to commit to paying those prices to host a website file. I've heard about IPFS, but don't really understand how that works. And it seems crazy to me to have to pay everytime you want to make a simple update or change to a page or file. I've recently heard about ICP, but haven't really investigated what they offer. In any case, I'd be reluctant to build anything on the bitcoin blockchain or layer 2 because I would be worried that it would be slow as heck, and ICP token price is insane.

The way the crypto prices go, I don't think I'd be comfortable making a long term commitment to building on anything, because the price in crypto can vary so widely.

Does anyone know of any good resources for non-programmers to learn the ins and outs of building a website on web3? I can easily build websites on the internet with most of the website back ends, and with wordpress, HTML, etc. But web3 doesn't seem to have much information or consumer ready interfaces to build simple websites. So far, it's been nothing but discouraging. I haven't checked lately to see if anyone has bothered to build anything for businesses to build and host on because of my early poor results. Maybe its time to check again. If someone knows anything, and can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

It would certainly go a long way toward making web3 domains valuable if you could easily do something with them. Unstoppable Domains has different dapps, but I don't believe they really offer serious web3hosting. Their upload limit is 20 MB, which is insanely low. I haven't found anything that offers anything really robust enough to build a real website, or that offers content management features. Web3 is very limited from what I can see as far as site hosting goes.

And how the heck does email work on web3? Can you even have email on a blockchain?
