Please, appraise it - Not for sale, just available to be appraised.
Thanks all in advance for your help.

Managua is the capital of Nicaragua (over 900,000 inhabitants).

Don't see much value for the domain name only outside of Nicaragua.
Undeveloped = $0-$50

Just MHO Good Luck!

Are you kidding? Even undeveloped and during market lows as now, it's worth WAY MUCH MORE than that. FYI: Managua is a metropolis with 1 MILLION people living in there, WAY MUCH MORE than many medium-sized city in the States. What do you think indianapolis.com is worth?

Just out of curiosity, Luigi: did you actually snap it from someone foolish enough to lose the name?

Yup nameslave, the old owner lost it in error ... then he tried to have it back but I'm not interested in selling at the moment :)

Thanks for your good appraisal.

A great name! In fact one of the better ones I've seen here in a while. World capitals in a .com version is a very rare commodity. They are hardly ever dropped and most likely already an established site.

You were lucky to get it and it is worth quite a lot.

Good luck!

IMO managua.com is easily worth high 4 to low 5 figures to right buyer. Expedia paying $0.49/click at Overture and managua.com gets 44 at OT suggestion tool, so probably gets around 30 type-ins a day.

Ok, I'll be the first to admit I jumped the gun on this one.
Hence the double post. I tried to take it back :)

I should have checked overture and demoz before I posted.
I'll try and do my homework next time.

Very insightfull thread too!
Thanks for not slammin me :)

Just make sure you don't get paid with druglord money :D
I would be very careful with central american names etc.

If in doubt, watch the movie Scarface :D

Not meant to be rude, but you don't necessarily need to check Overture or dmoz or anything to evaluate a name such as managua.com. Hmm ... perhaps I like browsing my atlas since I was a kid ... dunno
