Marylander’s and domainers in areas near by… I’m looking at having a domainer discussion group in central Maryland (Columbia Maryland area) on Saturday 8 November 2008 between 11 and 2. I would like to center the topic on non PPC revenue development and end user sales. If you have ideas to share or would like to present to the group please drop me a line via PM.. If people want to stay later to network that would be up to them.

Thoughts & Concerns?

Cheers,
Bob

Hi there...I had DC Group together earlier this year....we met in DC though...I think there are some dnfers in the Baltimore area that will be intersted...

If you can make the trip to dc, I will be happy to set up another get togather....and actually talked about doing so with a member I ran into at the TRAFFIC show last month.

Let me know.

Would be glad to have the DC and Maryland group merge. I would like to get 6 to 8 domainers if possible. If you and I are in we are almost halfway there ;) Any others?

We can move from Columbia to Laurel to cut the travel distance for Marylanders and DC domainers. Perhaps a day at the race track to create a little ambiance.

Thoughts?

My vote is for Laurel Park - The Horse Racing Track in Laurel. Doors open at 11:30 on Saturday and races start around 1:30. We could meet and discuss ideas around 12 and have some fun watching the races. Lots of down time between races to get to know the other domainers. Depending on how many want to go we could look at getting a box/table or just grab an area inside. Cheap entertainment if you don't play the horses ;)

Thoughts?

Reviving an old thread...I am relatively new to domaining and live right outside of DC. I was wondering if you guys are planning, or would like to plan, another meeting. Let me know. Thanks!

Trafficz/DomainRoundtable is planning a conference in Wash, DC around June, 2009.

Naturally, that is going to cost to attend.

However, if you don't want to pay to attend Roundtable, you could schedule a informal meeting
at the hotel during the conference period.

Maybe, just a meeting in the bar or restaurant. ???

How much does it cost to attend such an event? If its in the thousands that would be way out of my range. A couple hundred not so bad.

The only shows I have attended have been the TRAFFIC shows which are in the $1500-2k range and those have very much been worth it on the networking side of things...I would say that domain roundtable is as well...
