Massive .biz drop?

According to http://whois.sc/internet-statistics 395,650 .biz domains were deleted within the last 24 hours.

I don't see how that figure can be correct, anyone have any the theories?

That is correct. You cannot buy a .biz solely for the purpose of resale.

never heard of massive .biz registering except those 3 letters .biz of elequa

Seems like it was just a registry / whois.sc blip as that 395,650 figure has been moved from deleted column to the new registrations column and the deleted column is now reading as N/A.

i think it was a neulevel glitch i had 4402 .biz domains' nameservers deleted then added check for yesterdays dailychanges and search for fma very strange

Unless there was someone who regged ALOT of .biz illegally or forgot to renew them it has to be wrong info ^^

I monitor the .biz deleting list every day and i can tell you it didn't look as full as the number shown dropped.
