Description
MasterTemplates.com is one of the oldest website in the template industry. It offers professional website templates, logos and PowerPoint templates for free.
At the moment there are 90 Website templates, 18 logo templates and 18 PowerPoint templates available for free download. All these graphics were made by a web design studio and I have exclusive rights for them (you will not find the same graphics available for download on another site, unless I have an agreement with that website and I’ve decided to distribute my artwork via the respective site in exchange for promotion). I will put you in contact with the design studio that created the artwork, if you want to continue to use them as a provider for the site graphics.
All the templates from MasterTemplates are free to download and use. The only "cost" for the user is that I require a link back to MasterTemplates site every time someone uses the site graphics. This is a great method of increasing link popularity, PageRank and website visitors and in the long run is far more profitable than buying links.

Revenue Details
The site brings around $900 every month. It is monetized via Google AdSense and by selling links. Adsense makes about $500/month, the first 3 links in the Partners section are bought since the beginning of this year by an advertiser (3 X $100/month) and I also sell the first position from the topsites section (http://www.mastertemplates.com/topsites/index.html) to another advertiser with $100/month. I don’t have to look for advertisers, it’s an old, established site, it has a PR6, so I’m often contacted by private advertisers and advertising companies.
It can probably bring more revenue if someone actively searches for advertisers, I just sit and let it run by itself.

Also, Adsense makes more than $500/month, this was just an average for the summer period, which everyone knows is slow for business. Here’s a breakdown of the Adsense revenue, with screenshots, for the last 12 months:

paulc: same answer as for ads: summer period - everyone knows that summer is always slow for traffic, hence for revenue. And what rankings are not as high as stated? Have you tried clicking the links I've provided?

I don't know why you estimate the value of the site only based on the revenue it brings. PR6, natural traffic, original content....
