I know it's kinda long and not .com but "Mexico Vacation" fetched 450.000 searches on Overture in december.

So people are clearly going to Mehico :)
And who is going? US-people, therefore the .us

So far to my words of wisdom :)

I lately was looking into vacation names and if you have that one it is worth holding on to for a bit! Shop it around to some companies in Mexico.....Hotel chains ect..........you may be suprised!! Good Luck!

I understand your logic of US-people going to Mexico ... but, to me, in the ".US" extension it just seems really odd. IMO. I know a lot of French people visit Florida ... but would FloridaVacation.FR work??
