mi1.com sold for $ 3,003 on Sedo tonight. There were a number of bidders.

Gee, I wonder how much it would have gone for on the different forums?

This is just my opinion but...it was only a good deal for the end user.

If this turns out to be a medical site, your assessment of $3K "I just think..it's a bit of a stretch" may turn out to be the bargain of the new decade.

The number one (1) killer of men in the US is Heart Attack, otherwise known as Myocardial Infarction or MI.

So MI1.com (mi1.com) is a pretty good deal in that regard.

Not to mention the history of Mission Impossible.

But I love the potential for an information site on heart disease and heart attack.

Looks like I need to monitor some auctions a little more closely.

Some other great uses...this has punch for a LLN.com.

Well like i said above...it was a great deal for the end user...if that's who bought it. But for resale purpose...i can't see myself spending 3k on it. :) I can think of better investments.

I would have been the end user.

I agree it is slightly overpriced compared to the market values of ccc.com, although there are many decent acronyms for this one.

I am not sure this has anything to do with any sales in the past or what we could get now for something we sold in the past.

The point lost is that more than a CCC I see this as a LLN that has pretty significant appeal to it on many different avenues. And it appears that other members do also.

Regardless, if this WAS an enduser that is great. And he/she potentially got a bargain depending on it's intended usage.

If this was another domainer buying purely for speculation then it is overpriced.

But I would be hard pressed to think this was a domainer unless he had a buyer already lined up.

you really think this was overpriced?

How much would you pay for My1.com? 2k? 3k?

This is the same term, except in Spanish.

It's a nice LLN.com, but the letter/number combo is a bit difficult to read.

MI1
mi1

buy hey, it is a good spanish word followed by a '1'.

not as easy to read as, say, AN2 or ME8. In some print the I and the 1 look pretty close.

there have been a number of $,$$$ sales for 3 char com names recently on Sedo and other aftermarket venues.

Don't assume all of these are end-user purchases

mi1 is highly brandable name
