How they go after Mike Rowe for MikeRoweSoft, which is the dudes NAME for petes sakes, and ignore www.mycrowsoft.com
which is obviously NOT the name of a person??

Microsoft sucks hate them, short their stock, send them nastygrams.

they are legal bullies. Of course it always figures that the nerdy types would spawn a culture of tattling and paperwork since they got pushed around at school.

Microsoft has been very tolerant of xbox domain names considering that each one that is online promotes their product.

Well for one thing Mike Rowe is not a mark. Its a dudes name. Just because it SOUNDS similar IF you mispronounce it, is not his fault. You would have to prove that he registered it with the intention of causing confusion, which cannot be done. Nobody would glean from you telling them "Microsoft.com" vs MikeRoweSoft...no one is going to go to MikeRoweSoft.com because of that. If anything, its a liability to Mike Rowe.

The proper pronunciation of "Mike Rowe" would have the normal separation and emphasis you provide to any name. "Micro" is pronounced differently as it part of one word.

But according to you, the situation would be different had he just registered "MikeRoweSoftware" instead of "MikeRoweSoft"

+++++++++++++++++

Mike Rowe ADMITTED he knocked off MicroSoft's name. Case closed.
