How sick is this? Won't this person be shut down? It doesn't sound like they have the proper registration to be a charity.

Their own press release below points out that they are giving only 50 percent to charity. I just don't understand how someone can ask someone to contribute to a good cause when 50 percent of the money is going into their own pocket. Can a charity really be a charity under this type of guise?

The original milliondollarhomepage.com will take off in my opininon, he had the innotiave idea before everyone else. I dont know why alot of people want to use his idea because its then no longer orininal and people may not think as much of it all.

i think that its good they are donating... you cant look down on them because they arnt donating everything. Its not something that they have to do. A lot of major charitys dont donate entire donations. I dont think they are out to decieve people, that would be wrong. Stating the facts before, i think, is fair game

I think it would be neat to have a page like that, but with animated pictures... i think that using this idea isnt such a great idea, ive thought about it... im sure a lot of people have... it would be nice to come up with something diffrent

lol. i seriously doubt that money is going anywhere but the copy-cats pocket. people that rip off a site almost word for word don't really have good ethics.

By law (in the US) I believe only 15% of charitable contributions have to go for the actual charity. The rest can be administrative overhead...how else do you think the Salvation Army can afford to pay their CEO a 2.5M salary plus a chaueffed car? I also believe all charities have to publish how money is spent...before donating to any charity do a little homework and you will be appalled at how little reaches the actual cause. Some of the smaller less well known charities appear to be the best with some reaching in the 90%+ range being spent on the intended cause.

"Running Strong" ( a charity that helps native american tribes NOT supported by Indian Casinos :D build schools and provide medical care etc ) for instance last time I checked only had like 15% in administrative overhead.
