We have a domain on auction at Sedo. The current highest auction price is £500. One of the parties interested in the domain received an email saying:
"You previously expressed interest in purchasing the domain uksprite.com through Sedo's marketplace. Recently the seller received an offer of 30,000 USD meeting the reserve price and has decided to hold an auction."
The 30,000 USD is a completely incorrect figure. This may stop people visiting the site and bidding in the auction. I have heard this happening to other Sedo auction users in the past.
I'd encourage people to check carefully as these mistakes could affect interest in their domain.
