I think that if the domain name is used for non-food purposes then you may be okay.

It would help if your last name was MkDonald.

Have you thought about changing your name to John MkDonald?

It will not be worth the effort to defend this if they come knocking.

However, notice www.McDonald.com

I just looked in the domain history of McDonalds.

I was surprised to see that they used a yahoo acct in 2001.
It changed to MCD.com in 2002.

That's funny.

Aargh, 1st thing I thought of after seeing "mk" is mortal kombat. That's what
happens when one's damn addicted to it. :-D

Anyway, expect a rotten big mac to be thrown at you.

Problems arise out of usage. Any usage you do that concerns a TM that McDonalds has will cause problems. Beware of commercial usage within the restaurant field. If you park this make sure to not have food related ads.

My personal opinion is that the domain is worthless without an association to McDonalds. If you want to create some type of non-commercial site you may be ok.

"unless someone report you there wil be no risk"

Poster is saying the person will have no risk as long as it isn't reported... companies check for this type of stuff all the time, so it doesn not need to be reported to be found.
