Sedo,
when do you plan to develop fully compliant .mobi parking pages as the 'lite' parking page does not cut it?
we , in time, are in danger of losing .mobis unless the parked pages are up to it.
Can Sedo please answer this with detail & a time frame please?
Thanks, Predator

If Sedo don't do it Pred, you know somebody will. I'm guessing that Streamic or NameDrive will get there first.

Hi Rico,
yes a couple. No click through though.
One is for example, because the .com is massive.
Sedo will take months at best to sort. I think Azooza is spot on, namedrive will be the first, to do the best compliant pages.
feel free to post namedrive if you are reading!

Yeah,
just saw that Rico. Simple & it works. It's not rocket science. The big parking companies need to pull their finger out.
Incidentally Rico, is Tampa one of yours? :cheeky:
Cheers, Pred

That's quite right Pred. Making parking pages .mobi-compliant is dead simple. All we need is one of those big-arsed Google or YPN accounts.

Hi guys,

We are still working on updating .mobi parked pages to be 100% compliant with registry guidlines. Unfortunately, at this time, I cannot give a timeframe as to when this update will be completed.

From the technical perspective, you can park your domains and the pages will resolve properly on standard pc web browsers.

However, parking pages are not 100% optimized for mobile devices. Therefore, Sedo can not guarantee complete compliance with .mobi guidelines at this point in time. We are currently aware of the issue and actively working on a page template designed specifically for .mobi regulations set forth by the registry.

I hope this helps, and let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi

This is the "Sedo" discussion section.

Please do not promote your .mobi names here.

Thanks

Biggedon,
please do not let your view of .mobi cloud your judgement as moderator.
This post is posted in the sedo area as it clearly is meant to discuss when sedo will have compliant pages. Naturally that discussion will cover other parking companies & .mobi itself.
Try reading the thread from the top.

Don, with respect, I can point you to lots of useful modding to do besides picking on people here that are fairly and reasonably within bounds. You surprise me. Maybe a little more impartiality towards .mobi is in order. We know from your last posts where you stand on the extension.

1. You don't know my views
2. You don't have to keep posting your .mobi names to get answers
3. Read the rules, from Top to Bottom

http://www.dnforum.com/showthread.php?t=143069

15. Do not promote your websites, domains, company, or services in any of the discussion forums. This includes starting a thread, or replying to a post. If a member is seeking assistance or looking for a certain type of product, the best way to offer your services is to send a PM, unless the thread has been created in one of the Advertising forums (or Help Wanted), where you then may reply to a post with a self-promotion.

Thanks

No moderator should show partiality towards any extension.

Period!

For the record, I own some .mobi names, but I don't go around the forum posting them every chance I get.

There needs to be some discretion exercised, when asking questions in discussion forums.

Thanks

1. I wrote 'impartiality'.

2. I agree on the 'discretion thing' - works both ways.

Thanks.
