If nobody knows it exists then it is worthless. I could give you 500 Billion dollars and you could never overcome the awareness of dotcom. Besides, many ignorant domainers have a bunch of dotmobis so this virtually guarantees it's uselessness.
It's a hot potato and I'm afraid you will be trading amongst yourselves until the next "Big Thing" comes along. If you made money you should thank Rick Schwartz for the boost. Rick has already stated that most all of these dotmobi names are useless. He has tried to warn you, but you are too caught up in the craziness to see what is going on.
There was a group of people who made money trading stocks with no earnings a few years back. However, most who played the game lost everything....or close to it. In the end, the brokers and "pushers" just grinded up another group of suckers with their "new paradigm" talk.
Shhhhhhhhhhh. Don't tell anybody.....it's a big black hole and the only way out is to find a bigger sucker. Start preparing your lousy Escrow.com transactions with your friends. If you do that and also continue to set up fake bids at Sedo then you might just find a greater fool ("You" being anyone who does it...and you know it goes on all of the time).
Funny how most of the people who have the big dotcom transactions try to keep the price away from the public's eyes? I Wonder why that is?
Have fun.
mmm. hello Iggy,
you seem to have a lot to say for yourself for someone with 29 posts. sounds a little like a banned member to me returning.
Just to answer a few of your points:
1/ nobody has ever doubted the worldwide recognition of dotcom. indeed, stretch your imagination it is possible for the two to live aside each other. in the same way it is possible some of the domainers on here own quality .coms & .mobis. considered that?
i just suggest those that attacked mobi from the start & still continue to do so are shut off from what's actually happening in real time.
2/ lol. to throw around a figure like 500 billion dollars does tend to display a little immaturity if you don't mind me saying
3/ you use the phrase a bunch of 'ignorant domainers' .
anyone in particular? i can think of one.
4/ also if you take the time to go through some old posts, you'll see people have tried to use the analogy of past stock crashes etc. please credit us with some intelligence. most of us involved with this extension are involved with others, have other businesses too. some no doubt have worked in these markets. not sure whether you have a knee jerk reaction as you seem to have missed out big time.
5/ most interesting of all you seem to make a habit in your posts of insinuating that there may have been a made up story about the sportsbook sale? even though Ron (editor of dnjournal) is one of the most respected guys in the industry. also a member on here if you weren;t aware. if it's not good enough to check with buyer, seller & HEAD of escrow lol, what is good enough? also dnjournal has for many years been the most highly regarded sources of aftermarket sales.
Rick Schwartz is also a member here in case you have any questions of him.
6/ You also hint at dishonest practices. You even go into detail. A few bells started ringing with you so i thought i'd take a closer look.
Are you aware this forum is full of honest people with solid business practices? Are you aware we weedle out wronguns?
Okay had a look at a couple of your sales threads, bearing in mind you only have 29 posts!
I just picked 4 domains you are selling & they all have different registrants.
Care to explain Mr.Bigtime?
awfulbreath.com - blank registrant
chocolatedonuts.com - eric parkinson
autojunk.com - dom guy
urlinvestors.com - david gertler
I'm through.
