Buy 50 DNs @ $10 ea. = $500
Sell 3 @ $100 each = $300
= $200 loss

Read every post on this forum, then buy your first domain.

If you have prospective buyers and good names, you will have positive results.

In every business, there is slow down process or stagnant at all, meaning no money coming in, all going out. Well, this is part of business planning.

You need to diversify your business, don't concentrate in domain names business alone. The year 2000 had passed and not coming back. I'm not saying bad business, my point is really slow business at this time.

You have to make sale leads, prospect, etc.

Good luck to you,
tw.

I saw a poll in another forum where one third of all the people that responded reported they have lost money since entering the business - so you most definitely can lose money. You can buy domains for under $10 but that doesn't mean you can sell them for more than you paid for them - unless you learn how to pick good names (and that takes some time to learn).
